Imagine attending a church that God himself has left long ago…Or, worshiping in a building that has no room for Christ’s foundational truth?

According to Pastor David Jeremiah of Turning Point Ministries, many ministries around the world are knowingly becoming tools for the devil and spiritually manipulating God’s people by leaving the foundational truth of Christ out of their message.

The book of Mark 13:6 said it best: “For many shall come in my name, saying ‘I am the Christ’ and shall deceive many.”

The word of God is meant to do more than stir up holy emotions. It is intended to save through a true conviction of the Holy Spirit and repentance, achieved by hearing the truth of Christ and Him crucified (Romans 10:17).

As Pastor Jeremiah uncovers Satan’s plan of attack on God’s people, please follow along in your bible, and be critical of the methods used in your church.

As you watch, ask yourself:

Is your pastor’s message calling you to accountability through repentance, or is it pulling you away from Christ?
